The Peoples Web is an online trading community where you can buy, sell or swap just about anything. You need to to set up an account (prices start at £5+VAT per annum) and thereafter all ads are free and unlimited. There is no commission to pay, no bidding, no listing fee, no auctioning on The Peoples Web and it is fast becoming the low cost alternative to eBay and Yellow Pages. The company also operates in Spain giving Ex Pats the opportunity to trade with each other. Efficient low cost online community where you can buy, sell & swap anything.

The Peoples Web matches buyers and sellers, much as the classifieds do in local papers but this site makes the most of all that the internet and information technology can offer. List what you want to buy and sell and then they will get to work. Search for products or services by region, account type or by web/non web company. There are images of all the items for sale or swap, along with additional information.

This refined service works because The Peoples Web have invested considerable time and money to make the process of setting up an account and creating advertisements a foolproof operation. Working within the templates available online gives the site a welcome uniform feel. There are no banners and the interface is consequently clean and uncluttered.

There are three types of accounts: Peoples, which costs £5 +VAT p.a.. This is for independent sellers/buyers. Service at £25 +VAT p.a., aimed at sole proprietors, professionals and small companies. Retail at £100 +VAT p.a. where you can upload entire product ranges. Each account is personally controlled, The Peoples Web merely providing the platform. Account holders have their own homepage with web and email links.

The Peoples Web was set up by Mark Tuppen, a pilot of passenger jets, who is now an internet entrepeneur. So much so that he is giving the big boys serious voice for concern. The press section bears this up. We suggest you take a look.
